Primals (Gods)

Summary

The Primals represent the six elemental forces that govern the world. Though they are often depicted in art, it is impossible for a mortal to comprehend their true physical form for each one is a vast cosmic being beyond compare. This is not to say that they do not come with a mindset or ideals, however it is always a given that they remain neutral in the affairs of mortals.

They are as old as existence itself, and are often thought to be the source of Arcane Magic.

The Primals

Adranus – Goddess of Fire

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Holy Symbol: Two burning axes made of lavastone. Also a Tetrahedron.

Adranus is often portrayed as a woman with long flowing hair that starts off as magma and becomes strands of flame toward the end. Her eyes sparkle with the radiance of the sun, and her words are said to melt even the toughest materials. The most common pose is with her body outstretched, to represent the way fire spreads without discretion.

Temples dedicated to her tend to be near volcanoes or in areas that were cleared by wildfire.

Cionna – Goddess of Water

Alignment: Lawful Neutral

Holy Symbol: A harpoon with six barbed points. Also a Dodecahedron

Cionna is often depicted as a crying woman with hair flowing into an ocean of waves. Her kind words are soothing, but her harsh words feel like an icy chill. She is commonly posed with her arms forward, hands cupping parts of her hair, as if giving water to those who seek it.

Temples dedicated to her tend to be near or on bodies of water.

Tenanti – Goddess of Earth

Alignment: Lawful Neutral

Holy Symbol: A war-hammer atop a stone pedestal. Also a Cube.

Tenanti is often depicted as a bald woman who’s body is adorned with jewels, metals, plants, dirt, and stone. Her words are always wise, but often are done in consideration to the world as a whole, and rarely if ever will consider the individual. She is often posed sitting upon crags of stone and metal, as if in meditation.

Vuryar – Goddess of Air

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Holy Symbol: A fan with blades hanging off the edges in tassels. Also an Octohedron.

Vuryar is often depicted as a woman with wild, windswept hair going in all directions. Her words are always a song, and evoke her current mood upon whoever happens to listen. She is often posed reclining or flying, sometimes on a cloud, sometimes on a gust of wind.

Alignment: True Neutral

Holy Symbol: A shield and a sword facing upward. Also an Icosehedron.
